Abstract: This article examines the methodological foundations of using interactive teaching methods to develop critical thinking among primary school pupils in Mother Tongue lessons. The research employed pedagogical observation, classroom experiment, interviews, and comparative analysis. The study was conducted with 25 four-grade pupils at Innovation Erudit School in Andijan. The findings revealed that interactive teaching methods effectively improve pupils' ability to analyze texts, express evidence-based opinions, solve problem situations, and draw independent conclusions. Furthermore, the systematic use of interactive methods increased classroom participation, promoted collaborative learning, and enhanced overall educational effectiveness. Based on the research findings, methodological recommendations for developing critical thinking in primary school Mother Tongue lessons were proposed.References
