Abstract

Prenatal diagnostics is a set of measures aimed at detecting pathologies during intrauterine development. One of the least invasive, yet diagnostically significant methods is biochemical screening, which allows expecting parents to receive early information about the risk of giving birth to a child with a pathology and, in extreme cases, about the need to terminate the pregnancy.
