Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex neurodevelopmental condition characterized by deficits in social communication and the presence of restricted or repetitive behaviors. Early identification is crucial because timely intervention significantly improves developmental outcomes. This article discusses the early behavioral signs of ASD in infants and young children and outlines modern diagnostic algorithms used in clinical practice. The importance of multidisciplinary assessment and early screening tools is also emphasized.
