Abstract

Inflammation and allergic reactions are important protective mechanisms of the human body, but excessive or prolonged activation of these processes can lead to tissue damage and various pathological conditions. Anti-inflammatory and antiallergic drugs play an important role in controlling inflammatory mediators, immune responses, and clinical manifestations of these disorders. From a microbiological perspective, inflammation is closely associated with interactions between microorganisms and the host immune system. Bacterial, viral, fungal, and other microbial agents can activate innate and adaptive immune responses through pathogen-associated molecular patterns and inflammatory mediators. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the pharmacological properties and mechanisms of action of anti-inflammatory and antiallergic agents in relation to microbiological and immunological processes.
