Abstract

This article provides information on the fields, boundaries, and types of semiotics, its significance, history, and application based on a semiotic approach for young learners in general secondary schools. It also discusses necessary pedagogical conditions, scholars and their views, branches and directions of semiotics, and its use in everyday life. In addition, the article explains how semiotic principles can be applied effectively in teaching.
